Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is looking forward to the new coach Erik Ten Hag and once again indicated his whereabouts at Manchester United.
“I wish him the best and believe that we will win trophies next year,” said the exceptional striker of the Premier League club in an interview by the club.
“What I know about him is that he did a fantastic job for Ajax that he is an experienced coach,” added the 37-year-old Portuguese.
Manchester United will conclude this season without a title and, as a sixth, has no chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
“Things would have to change as he wants. But we have to give him time,” said Ronaldo about the Dutch football teacher, who follows interim coach Ralf Rangnick in summer.
Rangnick will then continue to work as a consultant for the Red Devils, he takes over the Austrian national team as a coach.

The tabloid “Mirror” had previously speculated about Ronaldo’s early farewell in the summer. But Ronaldo had already indicated in an Instagram message.
“Our goal is to get better every day,” wrote Ronaldo, “so that we can achieve what we all want: fame for manunited!”
