The Milwaukee Bucks have secured at least short-term reinforcement for the frontcourt. As the franchise officially announced at night on Sunday, Greg Monroe has signed a tenthon agreement at the current champion.
According to information from Michael Scotto (hoopshype), the 31-year-old Center had several offers on the table, but ultimately decided for the Bucks.
Milwaukee can use support on the big positions well, the actual starting center Brook Lopez has not completed no game due to a back-surgery since the Season Opener and also falls out for a while. During his absence, the Bucks mostly play small ball with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis on the four and five.
In the meantime, Demarcus Cousins got a chance in Milwaukee, but the center was released in early January despite solid services. Now Monroe wants to apply for a contract to the end of the season at his second stop in Milwaukee.
The former Lottery Pick of the Detroit Pistons ran from 2015 to 2017 in the Bucks jersey, then Tingetted several years through NBA and Europe. 2019/20 he was active for Bayern Munich in the BBL. In the current season, Monroe already played under Timberwolves and the Wizards under Tentate contracts, but could not establish himself in rotation.
